Meet the Founder,
Lee Ann Reeves

As owner of Bookkeeping by Design LLC, Lee Ann Reeves has over 30 years of experience in the bookkeeping industry. She enjoys supporting other entrepreneurs in their quests to operate contributive and profitable businesses by providing quality bookkeeping services and sound financial reporting.

Lee Ann Reeves finds her joy, her hope, and her life purpose in walking with Jesus. She values her family and is happy to live in Bend near her kids and grandkids. In her free time, she enjoys many outdoor activities with friends and family, especially hiking with her three labradoodles.

Meet our Amazing Team

Bookkeeping is one of those tasks that can be stressful, time consuming and draining for a business owner. At Bookkeeping by Design, Kirsten appreciates that the team gets to lift that burden and allow small business owners to spend more of their time and energy on the things they love about their business: the things that bring them more fulfilment and joy. Being a part time bookkeeper allows Kirsten to do the same thing in her own life.

As a Jesus follower, a happy wife, a proud mama of 4 amazing kids (ages 10,14, 16,18), a daughter, a sister, a friend, healthy relationships are what makes Kirsten’s life meaningful and full of joy!

Outside of work, family, and friends, Kirsten enjoys gardening (vegetables and flowers), raising chickens, macrame, baking sourdough bread.

Bookkeeping has allowed Joni to see the variety of businesses that exist and the many gifts of those people the team works with. She appreciate that the support they can provide to their clients, which allows them to focus on the facets of business they need to and use their strengths to make their businesses successful.

Joni and her family have lived in Bend for the last 8 years. She is first a child of God; the rest comes from His hands, and sees that lived out through being a wife for almost 20 years, with two amazing teenage kids.

Her family enjoys being able to explore the many beautiful places around Bend. Their kids love playing sports, which means they stay busy cheering them on.

As a working stay at home mom, Nichole has been with Bookkeeping By Design since 2021. Working for Lee Ann has been such a blessing to her family through being able to work and raise a family full time. Not only is the work interesting, but she appreciates that she can always learn something new, as well as the fact that it’s given her the opportunity to meet and get to know a lot of the small businesses here in Bend. 

Nichole was born and raised in Oregon, and moved to Bend in 2006 and immediately fell in love. She has been back in Bend since 2018 and still loves all that it has to offer, such as the variety of outdoor activities like fishing, camping, exploring – especially with a very curious toddler.

Jen joined Bookkeeping By Design in 2021 with a passion for championing small businesses. She loves the variety her work brings—each client offers a unique window into a different industry and business model, with its own set of complexities to navigate. By keeping their bookkeeping records in order, she helps business owners focus on what they do best, and finds genuine fulfillment in being of service to the entrepreneurial community.

Beyond the office, you’ll always find Jen outside. Whether it’s traveling to new destinations, training for her next endurance event, or seeking out her next adventure, she’s driven by a love of pushing her own expectations and seeing what she’s capable of achieving.

In the pursuit of a balanced life, Jacy has always been drawn towards adventure and freedom but also community and connection. With the remote nature of the job, she is able to travel internationally as well as in the country to explore and visit friends/family.  

Bookkeeping fulfills her desire to be of service to others.  She takes great joy in collaborating with small businesses, serving as their trusted ally to help them gain clarity and confidence in their financial matters — ultimately alleviating their stress and empowering their success.
 
In her free time, Jacy enjoys being involved in the community of Bend, mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, gardening, sustainability, and hiking with her dog Sage. 
Brian has been working with Bookkeeping By Design since 2004, following a career of nearly 20 years teaching math and science. He grew up in Bend, graduating from Mountain View High School in 2000 (arguably the greatest graduating class in history) before heading to Carroll College in Helena, Montana where he studied biology and philosophy with plans of continuing on to medical school. He ultimately decided to pivot and return home with his new bride, Marina, and instead focused on earning his Master’s degree from George Fox University before going into education. 
 
Brian and Marina have since raised four kids, a collection of animals both agricultural and domestic, and grown their roots deep in Bend. In the odd hour of free time he finds, he enjoys spending time with his family, making music, woodworking, solo hiking and camping, and gathering with friends around the fire pit.
 
Brian loves his work for all the same reasons he loved teaching: problem-solving, helping people understand the ideal solutions, and working diligently to get the best results for his clients. But above all, he enjoys being a “forever learner” just as he always encouraged his students to be, finding new ways to apply his knowledge and discovering new options and workflows that make life a little bit easier for his clients and colleagues alike. 

As the administrative assistant at Bookkeeping by Design, Autumn is always happy to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed. While assisting in the office and picking up bookkeeping tasks here and there, she appreciates the exposure to many aspects of business that most high schoolers don’t get to see. From client interactions and communication, to problem solving online, she is grateful for the experience and learning opportunities.

Autumn is a high schooler at Bend Senior High, and an anticipated honors diploma recipient and varsity track and field athlete. Aside from school and track, she loves all things adventurous, athletic, and creative. Whether it is playing the piano or guitar, crafting of all kinds, recreational team sports, outdoor adventures, or fun elective classes, she enjoys it all! As a Jesus follower, her goal in everything she does is always to preform for an audience of one and glorify God with her sports, music, and craftsmanship.

Jenny enjoys bookkeeping and supporting local small businesses. She values working with an experienced team and appreciates the flexibility that comes with working remotely. 
 
Jenny and her husband grew up in Central Oregon and, after moving away for nearly twenty years, returned to the area to raise their three amazing boys close to family and the beautiful outdoors they love.
 
Jenny homeschools her children, serves in leadership roles at two co-ops, tutors part-time, and volunteers in the children’s ministry at her church. With such a kid-focused schedule, working with clients and collaborating with a team of adults is a refreshing change of pace.

Aly has been with Bookkeeping by Design since February 2025 and loves being part of a supportive, detail-oriented team that truly cares about its clients. She enjoys supporting business owners on their financial journeys—helping bring clarity to the numbers, keeping books accurate and organized, and ultimately giving clients confidence and peace of mind so they can focus on what they do best.

Having lived in Washington, California, Montana, Africa, and Oregon, Aly brings a broad perspective and adaptability to her work. She has called Bend home for the past 15 years and is excited to be part of such a vibrant and outdoor-focused community.

Aly’s faith is central to her life and influences how she shows up for her family and others. She loves spending time with her husband and their three kids and appreciates the simple joys of living in Bend—being outdoors, enjoying God’s creation, embroidery, and unwinding with familiar favorite shows.

Bookkeeping is Alexandra’s happy place! It’s the perfect mix of puzzles, people, and purpose, helping local businesses thrive while she stays deeply connected to the Bend community she adores.

As a mom of two wild-and-wonderful little boys, she’s grateful for a role that lets her keep one eye on the numbers and the other on playground chases and bedtime stories.

She fell in love with Bend’s mountain views, sunny days, and rhythm the moment she arrived, and she never gets tired of exploring it all. Whether she’s crunching numbers or chasing kids up a trail, Alexandra brings the same enthusiasm: helping others succeed while savoring every sun-filled moment with the people she loves most.

Nikki loves being part of the Bookkeeping By Design Team and is passionate about helping
business owners succeed. She knows that managing the books can be overwhelming, which is
why she works to simplify the process and provide her clients with clarity and peace of mind.

With longstanding experience in QuickBooks across a variety of industries, Nikki’s practical
approach and attention to detail ensure clients feel confident and supported in their financial management.
 
A Northwest native and avid equestrian, Nikki is the animal lover of the team.
 
She values time with family and friends, and when she’s not working, she enjoys riding her horse or walking her dogs in the beautiful national forests we call home.
